Job description

Aimpoint Digital is a premier analytics consulting firm with a mission to drive business value for clients through expertise in data strategy, data analytics, decision sciences, and data engineering and infrastructure. We're a dynamic team committed to solving our client's most challenging business problems in partnership with the industry's most innovative software providers.
What You Will Do
As a Strategy Director at Aimpoint, you will serve as a senior trusted advisor to our clients and a strategic leader within our Strategy practice. Working closely with executive stakeholders to shape enterprise analytics and AI transformation agendas, guide complex strategic decisions, and drive measurable business value through AI and technology investments.
You will play a leadership role in defining and growing the Strategy practice. You will play a critical role in driving pre-sales and conducting AI Strategy Workshops. You will define how we scope and structure engagements, evolve our core strategy offerings, improve the quality and consistency of our deliverables, and build reusable frameworks and intellectual property that strengthen our AI Strategy position in the market. You will partner closely with practice leadership to help guide the direction of the team, deliver strategic assessments and oversight of enterprise transformation programs and raise the bar for what excellent strategy work looks like at Aimpoint.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a strategy leader who is passionate about how analytics and AI can transform businesses and deliver measurable enterprise value. You are an exceptional communicator, a structured and hypothesis-driven problem solver, and a credible executive advisor who can work confidently with senior client stakeholders while also providing clarity and direction to internal teams.
You bring extensive experience leading analytics, data, digital, or AI strategy work in consulting environments, along with the executive presence and commercial instincts required to grow trusted client relationships over time. You are equally comfortable leading high-impact engagements, shaping strategic account growth, guiding proposals and pursuits, and helping build the practice itself. You are comfortable leading in ambiguity and navigating complex, fast-moving environments with sound judgment and maturity. You can synthesize complex business, organizational, and technical considerations into clear recommendations, executive narratives, and strategic decisions.
You are also a model for others in how you lead. You set a high bar for client leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and deliverable quality. You are motivated to help grow the next generation of consultants and leaders at Aimpoint by coaching teams, sharing your judgment and experience, and helping strengthen the capabilities of the practice.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of strategy deliverables, including roadmaps, operating models, governance structures, business cases, use-case prioritization frameworks, and transformation plans
  • Partner with decision science, engineering, and platform teams to ensure strategy recommendations are aligned to enterprise realities, delivery constraints, and long-term client objectives
  • Lead business development initiatives including proposals, solution shaping, strategic client pursuits, offering development, and go-to-market efforts that support practice growth
  • Coach and develop consultants, engagement managers, and other team members by providing leadership, feedback, and example in client service, strategic thinking, and executive communication
  • Develop new solutions/offerings, market-facing points of view, and intellectual property related to Data Strategy, AI Strategy, and enterprise transformation

Qualifications
