The Senior Analyst, US Operational Risk Management, supports the execution, reporting, and continuous enhancement of the US Operational Risk Management program. This role is intended to provide broad exposure across US ORM through a combination of recurring accountabilities and project-based assignments supporting multiple ORM teams. The role will help build foundational operational risk management knowledge across areas such as portfolio management, risk assessments, program governance, change management, control testing, reporting and analytics, third party risk management, business continuity, operational resilience, cyber risk, data risk, fraud risk, and physical security risk management.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Support recurring US ORM program execution activities, including RCSA program reporting, operational loss metrics and related management reporting.
  • Participate in operational risk assessments and related program activities by gathering data, preparing materials, documenting outcomes, tracking follow-ups, and supporting timely execution.
  • Contribute to project-based assignments across US ORM teams based on business needs, providing the analyst with exposure to different aspects of the operational risk program.
  • Support the development and maintenance of program materials, guidance, procedures, job aids, meeting materials, and training or change management content.
  • Build knowledge of CIBC's US operational risk framework, risk culture, governance practices, and applicable program requirements while developing the skills necessary to progress within US ORM. #LI-TA
