Senior Manager, AI Enablement Program Manager Remote
Full time, Bogota, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico
The Senior Manager, AI Enablement Manager is accountable for the design, oversight, and continuous improvement of enterprise technical governance program, with a primary focus on AI governance. This role serves as an enterprise governance leader and trusted counterpart to Security Architecture, Data Science, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams.
The role ensures that technology platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and systems supporting data, privacy, ethical, and security controls are governed in alignment with organizational risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and responsible technology standards. Acting as a central point of governance coordination, the Program Governance Senior Manager translates risk, regulatory, and ethical requirements into durable governance structures, decision frameworks, and operating models.
This position is governance-first rather than delivery project management oriented, operating horizontally across business, technology, security, privacy, legal, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate brings strong program governance expertise and demonstrated experience at the intersection of risk management, privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and guide enterprise-level decision making.
As a Senior Manager, AI Enablement Program Manager, you will
  • Establish and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models
  • Govern AI systems across their full lifecycle, including intake, risk classification, approval, monitoring, and retirement
  • Align AI governance with enterprise security and risk frameworks (e.g., EUI AI Act, ISO 4200, ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
  • Ensure security, privacy, and ethical requirements are embedded into AI governance by design
  • Oversee AI and security risk identification, assessment, treatment, and acceptance processes
  • Support internal audit, regulatory inquiries, and assurance activities related to AI and security governance
  • Support AI governance forums, councils, and risk review boards
  • Define governance metrics, KPIs, and maturity indicators
  • Drive continuous improvement of governance practices to address emerging AI and security risks
  • Manage human resources including hiring, coaching, scheduling, terminating, training, motivating, recognizing achievements and evaluating performance

About you
  • Extensive program governance, risk management, security, privacy, or technology governance experience
  • Prior experience with working across enterprise, cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on participation in governance, risk, compliance, security, or AI oversight activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Formal training or demonstrated mastery in governance, risk management, cyber and AI frameworks
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance principles
  • Understanding of AI lifecycle risks (bias, transparency, explainability, security, resilience)
  • Expertise of Cybersecurity governance frameworks and control models
  • Familiarity with the regulatory and standards landscape impacting AI and security governance
