Job Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of the Position:
  • Own and maintain the Plan for Every Part (PFEP), ensuring material flow, packaging, and inventory strategies remain accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and manage plant material footprints, driving compliance and optimization of work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods (FG) storage areas.
  • Lead inventory reduction initiatives and warehousing optimization efforts to improve space utilization, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Create, maintain, and improve Value Stream Maps while supporting lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and visual management initiatives.
  • Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions to achieve operational goals.
  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, plant expansions, and production line installations, including line-side material and packaging setup.
  • Champion 5S, layered process audits, and layout management activities to ensure safe, organized, and efficient plant operations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline, or 5 years related experience with a sound understanding and proven history of logistical concepts.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
  • Experience in developing and enforcing part or rack footprint layout
  • Continuous improvement project involvement
  • Understanding value stream mapping
  • Lean six sigma training
  • Strong change management, facilitation, and communication skills coupled with a demonstrated ability to drive improvement in a highly-decentralized environment.
  • Proven project management skills dealing with complex projects.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word.
  • Strong leadership skills.
