Job description

Position Summary
This role is an opportunity to directly transform how work gets done. You'll partner with business teams to design and implement automation and AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and create real business value. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple technologies, including enterprise systems, databases, cloud platforms, and emerging AI tools, while building expertise in one of the fastest growing areas of IT. Please note:
  • This position is primarily located at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.
  • The working hours of this role will be begin at approximately 1:00pm HST.

Base Annual Salary Range: $79,100 - $101,745 per year
The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Essential Duties:
  • Provide operational support by monitoring scheduled process execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process failures, exceptions, and performance issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows using approved tools
  • Translate business process requirements into technical automated solutions
  • Follow development standards, naming conventions, and documentation standards.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrating, supporting, and maintaining enterprise platforms
  • At least 1 year of enterprise IT project management experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve operational efficiency, reliability, or productivity in both technical and business workflows
  • Intermediate ability to understand business needs and implement effective technology solutions
  • Intermediate ability to identify business requirements and create software solutions that align with business goals
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or other database software
  • Intermediate knowledge of SDLC processes and best practices for managing software releases.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience
  • AI, automation, or database related certifications for software developers
  • Advanced oral and written communication abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to apply complex logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and deal with multiple variables
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical functions such as discount, interest, profit and loss, commission markup and selling price, ratio and proportion, and percentage
