This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsWe are seeking experts with advanced training in Mathematics to contribute to a cutting-edge project in collaboration with a leading AI research group. This initiative focuses on enhancing AI systems' reasoning capabilities through rigorous problem-solving and theorem-based evaluation. As part of this role, you will apply graduate-level expertise to assess, validate, and improve complex mathematical reasoning.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Solve and evaluate challenging mathematics problems across multiple domains.
  • Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness.
  • Provide structured feedback to refine and strengthen mathematical reasoning models.
Ideal Qualifications
  • Recent PhD in Mathematics (within the past 4 years) OR current PhD candidate (≥3 years into their program; typically ≥4th year post-undergrad or ≥3rd year post-master's).
  • Background from a top 30 mathematics program.
  • Actively engaged in research/academia preferred.
  • Strong foundation in advanced problem-solving and theorem application, with the ability to clearly articulate reasoning, reference theorems, and identify gaps in proofs or arguments.
