Job description

Summary
At PLACE, we don't just experiment with AI - we ship it. We build AI-powered products that make a real impact, from automating marketing workflows to intelligent lead routing and smart assistants. Our tools help the top real estate teams across North America grow and scale.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who's excited about building full products that leverage AI. We primarily work with JavaScript (Node.js) and a bit of Python, so familiarity with these technologies is a plus. More importantly, we want someone who can turn innovative ideas into tools that thousands of real estate professionals rely on.
You'll collaborate with our product, design, and platform engineering teams to bring impactful AI-driven features to life, all while using a modern tech stack you're comfortable with
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Build Full-Stack AI Features: Use JavaScript, Node.js, and Python to integrate AI capabilities into our web applications. You'll be building real-time features that enhance the way real estate professionals work.
  • Own End-to-End Development: From backend APIs to frontend UX, you'll deliver features that blend AI seamlessly into our core workflows like CRM, transactions, and marketing.
  • Build and Integrate AI Agents: Work on creating and integrating AI agents that utilize large language models and vector databases to help agents move faster and smarter.
  • Scale & Deploy: Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure our services are secure, scalable, and built on modern infrastructure like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to shape the roadmap and deliver impactful features.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • 3+ years experience building web applications (frontend + backend).
  • Solid programming skills in Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Experience working with frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or similar.
  • Comfortable shipping production code, writing tests, and deploying to cloud infrastructure.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) in production systems.
  • Familiarity with Langchain, CrewAI, or other agent frameworks.
  • Worked with vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.
  • Interest or experience in real estate tech or B2B SaaS.
About-our-team
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience building web applications, both frontend and backend.
  • Solid programming skills in Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience incorporating AI into your development workflow, especially using agentic development tools or building AI-powered features.
