Job description

Job Summary:
NLB Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and develop comprehensive solutions that optimize performance and maintain application components. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure adherence to methodologies and standards, while also focusing on both front-end and back-end development.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and develop business, application, data, and infrastructure solutions, seek opportunities to optimize performance, maintain and troubleshoot application components as required.
โ€ข Design and develop with consideration for Non-Functional Requirements (Scalability, Reliability, Availability, Observability, Fault Tolerance)
โ€ข Ensure that the Company's methodology, standards, and procedures are adopted and implemented
โ€ข Design solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
โ€ข Write front-end and back-end code following the TDD (Test Driven Development) practice.
โ€ข Develop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
โ€ข Configure services, such as databases and monitoring.
โ€ข Fix problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production support.
โ€ข Designing, prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements.
โ€ข Assisting in the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches, tools and workflows.
โ€ข Collaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that the code that is developed meets their vision.
โ€ข Align to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements.
โ€ข Implement Service Reliability Engineering
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5 or more years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or related technical engineering capacity.
โ€ข Relevant technologies and programming languages include JAVA, Spring Boot, IBM MQ, Oracle Database table design, queries and optimization, Angular.
โ€ข Solid grasp of Agile Methodologies.
โ€ข Demonstrable experience with DevOps principles, practices and tools.
โ€ข Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider.
โ€ข Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development is a requirement.
โ€ข Fundamental Awareness of Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles is required.
โ€ข Experience with source control, build tools and GIT (GitHub, Bitbucket or other) is required.
โ€ข High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.
Preferred:
โ€ข Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
โ€ข Experience working in an airline technology environment.
