Build and scale modern DevOps capabilities that help clients accelerate delivery, improve reliability, and modernize engineering operations. As a Senior Consultant in Engineering Foundry, AI & E/EaaS - DevOps, you will support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud, automation, and platform engineering solutions across complex environments. This role blends technical delivery, client collaboration, and operational improvement to help organizations strengthen software delivery performance and business outcomes.

As a Senior Consultant, Engineering Foundry, AI & E/EaaS - DevOps on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for...

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices across client environments
  • Collaborating with client and Deloitte teams to assess current-state engineering processes and define target-state DevOps operating models, tooling, and workflows

  • 6+ years of experience with DevOps engineering, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure automation
  • 6+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • 4+ years of experience building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • 4+ years of experience using infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager
  • 4+ years of experience with container platforms and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and policy enforcement in deployment pipelines
  • 4+ years of experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • 4+ years of experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • 4+ years of experience working in consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery environments
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery models and cross-functional product or engineering teams
  • Experience with release management, environment strategy, and production support processes

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,200 to $229,100.
