Job description

Essor, where brands take flight. We find digital challenger brands and supercharge them into iconic global legends that consumers love. As a next-generation consumer products platform, we leverage technology, industry expertise, and strategic collaborations to ignite growth and launch brands beyond expectations.
Essor's brand portfolio today includes a broad range of rapidly growing health & wellness and lifestyle brands like Boka, ZitSticka, Puracy, OTOTO Design, FreshCap, Iron Flask, Fullstar, NumNum, Key Nutrients, and Viking Revolution that are sold on Amazon, Direct to Consumer channels, and through national retailers like Target, CVS, and Walmart.
At Essor, we are at the forefront of leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to challenge traditional ways of working. We are empowered to engage technology-driven initiatives. We want individuals who are hands-on, curious, and excited to be part of this journey. We expect Essorians to actively leverage AI, data, and automation to drive impact in their daily work. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of AI coding agents to automate tasks (e.g., Copilot, Antigravity), development of automated or agentic workflows (e.g., N8N, Dify), and engagement with data analysis tools (including SQL where relevant). While mastery is not required at the outset, rapid learning, technical fluency, and continuous upskilling are core expectations. The company will support your growth through guidance and coaching, and you are expected to actively develop and apply your skills as part of your role.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Retail Associate Account Manager to support our retail growth engine through exceptional demand planning, sales operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is central to ensuring sales orders, forecasts, and retail execution run smoothly across our retail partners. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working closely with vendors, retailers, supply chain partners, and internal teams to drive operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting
    • Manage and analyze demand forecasts to support order accuracy, replenishment, and inventory health.
    • Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and vendor partners to adjust demand plans based on trends, promotions, and sales performance.
    • Provide key forecasting inputs for account-specific planning and ensure timely product availability.
  • Sales Order Management
    • Review and approve sales orders to ensure alignment with forecast expectations, stock levels, and retailer requirements.
    • Monitor open orders, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines, resolving discrepancies proactively.
    • Serve as a liaison across customers, vendors, and internal teams to improve fulfillment rates and solve operational issues.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct regular sales performance analysis by account and product category to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance reports and scorecards tracking sell-through, inventory turns, promotions, and other key metrics.
    • Prepare presentations and insights for internal stakeholders and retail partners to support business decisions.
  • Vendor & Customer Collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with vendor and retail partners to align on promotions, launches, and key supply chain initiatives.
    • Provide analytical insights to vendors to support in-stock optimization and mutual business growth.
    • Educate partners on Essor's processes, order requirements, and operational standards.
  • Promotional & Retail Execution Support
    • Support trade promotions by ensuring accurate demand planning, stock availability, and forecasting alignment.
    • Partner with marketing and merchandising teams to optimize product placement and visibility at retail locations.
    • Manage internal item data catalogue and gain proficiency in retailer vendor portals.
  • Technology & Automation
    • Strong interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability (and willingness) to be trained to build and maintain mini-apps, dashboards, workflows, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
    • Comfortable working with data systems and process automation; proactive in identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and forecasting processes.
    • Knowledge of SQL is a big advantage.

Who You Are:
  • 2+ years of experience in retail, CPG, sales operations, demand planning, or analytics. We are open to recent graduates too.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs); experience with forecasting tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator capable of interfacing with vendors, retailers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges.
  • Collaborative team player able to work independently and drive results.

We are seeking for people who:
  • Are owners.
  • Are continually raising the bar.
  • Are sincerely open-minded, and are willing to examine their strongest convictions with humility.
  • Nurture and embrace differing perspectives to make better decisions.

What's in it for you?
  • A supportive, diverse and global team with a growth mindset.
  • A scaling company with great industry professionals.
  • A flexible (hybrid) working environment.
  • Great opportunities to get involved with exciting projects.

Digital Fluency & AI Integration
At Essor, technical fluency is a prerequisite for excellence. We look for individuals who are excited to pioneer new ways of working by leveraging LLMs, automated workflows, and data analysis tools.
Whether it's deploying AI coding agents (Copilot, Antigravity) to ship faster, building agentic workflows in N8N or Dify, or querying data via SQL to drive objective decisions, you should be a practitioner of the "automated-first" mindset. While we don't expect Day 1 mastery, we do require a relentless "learn-and-apply" loop. We are committed to your growth through active mentorship and internal upskilling, expecting in return a commitment to continuous experimentation and the proactive application of AI to solve complex business problems.
Own your impact. Join us.
The estimated salary range for this role is $50-60K per year. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.
