Contract Administrator (Bilingual – English/French)

Location: Saguenay, QC (On-site 2 days/week)
Duration: August/September 2026 – July 2027
Schedule: 2 days per week
Pay Rate: T4: $48/hr | Incorporated: $56.91/hr

Overview

We are seeking a bilingual Contract Administrator to support the Centre de billettes Alma (CBA) Project / Alma Billet Centre. This contract will run from August/September 2026 through July 2027, with 2 days per week on-site in Saguenay.

The successful candidate will have experience administering industrial contracts, particularly those involving equipment suppliers during installation, commissioning, and VPO (Visite de pré-opération / Pre-Operational Visits).

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and French (mandatory)
  • Experience in industrial contract administration
  • Experience managing contracts with equipment suppliers
  • Knowledge of installation support, commissioning, or pre-operational activities (VPO)
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, documentation, and change management
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts for equipment suppliers throughout installation support and VPO activities.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations, schedules, and project deliverables.
  • Track contractual deliverables and maintain accurate contract documentation.
  • Manage contract changes, amendments, and change requests.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractual issues, notices, claims, and non-conformances.
  • Support rechargeback (cost recovery) processes related to supplier activities.
  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain organized contract records and provide regular reporting on contract status and risks.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting industrial construction, mining, metals, manufacturing, or heavy industrial projects.

Responsabilités

  • Assurer l'administration des contrats des fournisseurs d'équipements pendant les phases d'installation, de soutien à la mise en service et des VPO.
  • Effectuer le suivi de la conformité contractuelle des fournisseurs, des échéanciers et des livrables.
  • Assurer le suivi des livrables contractuels et maintenir une documentation complète et à jour.
  • Gérer les modifications contractuelles, les avenants et les demandes de changement.
  • Suivre les enjeux contractuels, les avis, les non-conformités, les réclamations et les mesures correctives.
  • Gérer les activités de refacturation (rechargeback) et le suivi des coûts récupérables auprès des fournisseurs.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de projet, les fournisseurs et les différentes parties prenantes afin d'assurer le respect des obligations contractuelles.
  • Produire des rapports et assurer le suivi des risques et de l'état d'avancement des contrats.

Atouts

  • Expérience dans des projets de construction industrielle, métallurgie, mines, fabrication ou industrie lourde.
  • Expérience liée à l'installation et à la mise en service d'équipements industriels.
