Job description

Bij Voltmasters bouwen we aan de toekomst van energiebeheer. Ons Energy Management System (EMS) helpt bedrijven hun batterijsystemen, zonne-energie en verbruik slim te sturen. We koppelen industriële hardware, real-time data en AI om duurzame energie écht efficiënt te maken.

We zijn een jong en ambitieus techbedrijf met stevige groeiplannen. Als backend developer krijg je de kans om impact te maken op een product dat de energietransitie versnelt, en mee onze technische richting te bepalen.

Wat je zal doen

Je werkt aan de kern van ons EMS-platform, gebouwd in Laravel en gekoppeld aan een netwerk van slimme toestellen.

  • Je bouwt nieuwe API's en backendmodules die onze energiecontrollers aansturen.
  • Je integreert externe datastromen via AWS, MQTT en InfluxDB.
  • Je denkt mee over architectuur, performance en schaalbaarheid van het platform.
  • Je helpt de vertaalslag maken van ruwe sensordata naar bruikbare inzichten.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met onze embedded en frontend engineers om een betrouwbaar, performant en elegant geheel te bouwen.

Je werkt niet enkel aan code, maar ook aan de toekomst van hoe bedrijven met energie omgaan.

Wat we verwachten
  • Je hebt kennis van PHP (Laravel).
  • Ervaring met API-ontwerp, databases en event-driven systemen.
  • Je schrijft leesbare, gestructureerde en goed geteste code.
  • Je denkt graag na over productbeslissingen en technische strategie.
  • Je communiceert helder en werkt goed samen in team.

Extra punten als je ervaring hebt met IoT, energieprojecten of AWS, maar enthousiasme en leergierigheid zijn minstens even belangrijk.
