Job description

Job Description
This position focuses on enhancing Internal Audit processes through advanced digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI (GenAI), data analytics, and automation. Responsibilities include integrating digital tools (GenAI, PowerBI, AI, etc) into various phases of the audit lifecycle, developing data visualizations with tools like Power BI and Azure AI, using the latest technology to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness, providing technical training, analyzing large datasets for insights, and staying updated on AI governance and risk management. This role will also create advanced analytic dashboards and use large amounts of data to assist our clients with business needs and create GenAI solutions for business and audit process improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create, revise and / or enhance current internal audit processes with digital solutions to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness. Digital solutions may be tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, GenAI, AI, etc.
  • Support assurance and advisory engagements with a digital-first approach, identifying opportunities to apply AI and data analytics to business processes as part of the audit process
  • Develop and present advanced data visualizations and dashboards using approved technologies (e.g., Power BI, Azure AI, Alteryx)
  • Collaborate with audit teams to embed digital tools into planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases, ensuring alignment with the Global Internal Audit Standards
  • Provide technical guidance and training to auditors on digital tools
  • Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, trends and control gaps, enabling full population testing and enhanced assurance
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory developments in AI governance and risk management.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related field
  • Advanced degree is a plus
  • Certification is a plus (Power BI)
  • Relevant work experience in AI, data analytics, and/or digital transformation within a corporate or consulting environment is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience with one or more of the following: SQL, Python, AI, GenAI, Alteryx, Azure, Data Bricks, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development tools (i.e. Blue Prism)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Power tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience providing predictive analytics as well as data visualization is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Effective project management skills, including time management and work plan development
  • Ability to work in a team environment as an individual contributor or independently with self confidence
  • Adapt to changing demands, multi task, and manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance
  • Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's core values of safety, unquestionable trust, superior performance, and total commitment

Experience:
