Guides students through reading passage annotation, word relationship identification, multi-step arithmetic problems, and basic geometry calculations. Emphasizes building test confidence and reducing anxiety while developing critical thinking skills appropriate for fourth and fifth grade students.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with ISEE Lower Level content scope and common challenges such as unfamiliar vocabulary, reading stamina for multiple passages, and multi-step math problems above current grade level. Adapts instruction using official ERB practice materials, vocabulary building programs, and timed section practice to support fourth and fifth grade students seeking admission to competitive independent schools.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
