Responsibilities

The Credit Enablement & Communications Specialist role supports Credit Risk Management by coordinating, delivering, and maintaining credit-related communications and training across the bank. This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities.

The role supports the Chief Credit Officer, Credit Executives, and partners closely with Credit Policy, 2nd line Risk management, Regulatory and Compliance, and our Learning & Development team to ensure credit policies, procedures, and updates are communicated clearly and applied consistently. This person will be expected to enhance engagement with the credit organization, create, and elevate the team's visibility within the business, and promote talent development. In addition, this person will be expected to formalize a regular communication rhythm with the Credit Risk Management organization and take responsibility for the creation and/or coordination of credit-related materials for update meetings and off-sites.

This position is well-suited for someone with an advanced background in communication and presentation skills and tools, who also has experience in credit and enjoys organization, collaboration, and turning complex information into clear, usable guidance.

We are an in-office working environment with the following locations for you to work with team members; MN (St Cloud, Mankato, Capella Building, St Paul, Lake Elmo, Rochester), IL (8750 W. Bryn Mawr Chicago (near Rosemont and the Cumberland Blue line station), Palos Park, Plainfield , IN (Indianapolis, Carmel, Jasper, Bloomington, Muncie, Lafayette, Evansville), MI (Troy, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids), Milwaukee, Louisville, and Nashville.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $81.700 - $165,100 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

    Establish ongoing communication materials for Credit Risk Management organization that drive engagement and support culture building
  • Coordinate and maintain credit training programs for lenders, credit analysts, and credit officers
  • Support onboarding and ongoing education for credit-related roles
  • Communicate credit policy updates, procedural changes, and regulatory guidance
  • Prepare and maintain training materials, presentations, job aids, and internal documentation
  • Schedule and organize in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Track training participation and completion for credit staff
  • Partner with Credit Policy, Credit Risk Management, 2nd Line Risk, Compliance, and Learning & Development on training initiatives
  • Gather feedback and recommend improvements to training content and delivery

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Skilled in the development of communications plans for business enablement.
  • Working knowledge of commercial credit and underwriting concepts.
  • 2-4 years of experience in banking, credit, risk, training, or a related area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and word documents.
  • Experience with CoPilot
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives and recurring processes
  • Experience in a regulated financial services environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting credit, risk, or lending teams
  • Prior involvement in training coordination or internal communications
  • Familiarity with bank credit policies and procedures
