Job Description

Luna Data is seeking a Help Desk Administrator III for a long term onsite contract opportunity in S. Austin.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of Help Desk/Desktop Support experience
  • Tier III support and escalated ticket management
  • ITSM, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
  • Hardware, software, operating systems, email, and printer support
  • Network, desktop, and server troubleshooting
  • PC, printer, and terminal maintenance/repair
  • Basic electrical, mechanical, and electronics knowledge
  • Ability to use technical manuals and diagnostic tools
  • Software deployment and support of shared tools/applications
  • Incident documentation, tracking, and resolution
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Time management and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of EIR Accessibility and assistive technologies
  • Experience supporting users onsite, remotely, by phone, and via email
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier III help desk support for escalated technical issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, desktop, and server problems
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, remote access, and in person
  • Document, track, and resolve incidents in accordance with established processes
  • Support operating systems, email, printers, and productivity applications
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
  • Coordinate system upgrades, changes, and new technology implementations
  • Deploy and support shared software, development, and testing tools
  • Communicate status updates and maintain work activity records
  • Ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Assist users requiring accessibility accommodations
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain support operations
