Job description

Sr Software Engineer

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Clearance Required: Secret Clearance

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for DoD systems, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Proven experience in developing software for radar control systems and signal processing applications. Knowledge of DoD software acquisition and development methodologies such as Agile and DevSecOps.
  • Ability to apply Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles in software design and development.
  • Experience in establishing and monitoring software development objectives and guidelines.
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages and ability to evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Experience with software validation, verification, accreditation, and developing test-automation suites. Ability to conduct peer reviews, maintain and improve existing codebases, and implement software quality assurance and configuration management procedures.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and developing solutions to improve the performance and scalability of systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Ten (10) years of Software Engineering experience is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
