POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a strong analytical thinker, natural problem solver, and communicator? Do you take pride in translating complex and challenging business and data flows into technical designs and solutions that simplify the user experience? As part of the Sales Enablement Technology(SET)team, the Senior Business Systems Analystwill work collaboratively with stakeholders,SETteam developers, other business systems analysts, andthe rest of IT. The position will ask you to analyze, configure, test,deliver, and supporttechnology solutions that align with department goals and business strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
  • Manages cross-functional programs/projects, gathers business requirements, designs solutions, and participates in the development of strategy and roadmaps for point-of-sale (POS) and ecommerce systems.
  • Leads the creation of scope and requirements documents, process flows, context diagrams, system documentation, data mapping, test scenarios, and end-user training.
  • Responsible forprovidingcustomer support for software, operational questions, and issues.
  • Leads teams/projects and provides direction to cross-functional team members and vendors.
  • Facilitates decisions among business leaders, IT, vendors, and delivery teams.
  • Drives innovation with customers, peers, and vendors to improve company efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Builds partnerships with customers, peers, and stakeholders and works closely with them to shape and influence the design of acceptable solutions.
  • Evaluates technology for its application in our business and evangelizes the use of technology to digitize cross-functional business processes.
  • Acts on behalf of the business partner as a subject matter expert to ensure product/service performance supports the business process needs.
  • Collects feedback from business partners on application performance and manages complex configurations and resolution of technical architecture issues.
  • Responsible for overall product quality; formulates test strategies, plans, scripts and performs detailed testing for complex use cases to ensure systems function correctly.
  • Participates in and provides after-hours and weekend escalated support as part of a rotating schedule and as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, plus 5 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years equivalent experience.
  • Excellent at cross-functional business process reengineering and ability to translate business processes into technology solutions.
  • Ability to lead teams andprovidework and technical direction to vendors and cross-functional team members.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio.
  • Experience with SDLC, waterfall, and scrum/agile project methodologies.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving,and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.Ability to communicate effectively under high-pressure situations with leadership team members.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time between local company facilities using a personal vehicle. A valid driver's license is required.
  • Familiarity with implementing or migrating a multi-location, modern POS platform such as Mad Mobile (Cake or Concierge for Retail), NVPOS, eWinery, PredictSpring, or Retail Cloud with modern POS.
  • Familiarity with tracking, monitoring, and analyzing potential issues with API integrations to help determine root cause.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Ability to lead large and complex enterprise application projects across all aspects of the software development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
WAGE TRANSPARENCY

The annual salary for this role ranges from $100,000 - $130,000. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
