Project Manager Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite) Interview Process: One round of camera on virtual interviews. Local candidates may be required to come onsite for interviews. Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 08+ Years Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC, NC, or GA within commutable distance to Columbia.

No relocation is allowed. Project Scope: Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple infrastructure, cloud, information security, and application-related projects. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and support. Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource allocations. Coordinate activities between technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and management.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage project risks, issues, change requests, and escalations. Track project financials, resource utilization, and project performance metrics.

Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status reporting to leadership. Support IT strategic planning and project governance activities. Coordinate knowledge transfer and transition activities following implementation.

Document project benefits, business value, and operational improvements. Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining project documentation, policies, procedures, training materials, and best practices. 3+ years of Project Management experience supporting infrastructure, network, or application projects.

3+ years of Full Life Cycle Change Management experience. 3+ years of experience working with PCI, PUB1075, and/or NIST security standards. Strong knowledge of PMI project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

Preferred Skills: Government IT project management experience. Information Security project experience. Vendor management experience.

Business Analyst or Quality Analyst background. Experience with metrics analysis and reporting. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including: Windows SharePoint Microsoft Project MS Office / Office 365 Visio Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certification: PMP Certification (active and verifiable) is required. Additional industry certifications related to Project Management, Security, or Infrastructure are a plus.
