Job Description:

  • Works on an Agile product team to design, code and test the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the team.
  • Works with the team to ensure commitments to the sprint are delivered in line with expectations of time and quality.
  • Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo.
  • Build using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Responsible for both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks as well as the development of high quality, well documented, and efficient code.
  • Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems.
  • Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable.
  • Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
  • Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives.
  • Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role.
  • Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.
  • Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.
  • Multiple open positions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related technical field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a software development occupation.

Or

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related technical field and three (3) years of experience in a software development occupation.

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Work location: 8200 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA 22102.

This position has a prevailing wage range of $175,427.00 to $192,985.94 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
