We're hiring a Quality Control Technician to help ensure the quality of ready-mix concrete produced at our facilities through testing, inspection, and collaboration with production and operations teams.

This is a full-time position with opportunities to build technical expertise, earn industry certifications, and develop a long-term career in the construction materials industry.

• Perform sampling, testing, and result verification in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, State DOT, and company procedures
• Ensure plant operations and delivery vehicles maintain established quality standards
• Maintain accurate testing records, logs, and documentation
• Communicate quality concerns to Quality Control leadership and operations teams
• Recommend adjustments to mix designs based on field and laboratory testing results
• Analyze testing data and prepare reports related to quality and production performance
• Assist in evaluating and resolving customer quality concerns
• Work closely with sales, customer service, production, dispatch, and delivery teams
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs
• Obtain required certifications, including ACI certification, as assigned

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, sitting, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to safely climb and descend ladders
• Ability to access and navigate plant and job-site environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, or up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to work outside normal business hours as operational needs require

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mathematical abilities, including weights and measurements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented attitude and positive work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop technical expertise
• Aggregate, concrete, or materials testing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Prior quality control experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred
• Ready-mix concrete experience is a plus
