For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE We are seeking an experienced Crusher Laborer/Wash Plant Operator. A background in operating other heavy equipment, loaders, dozer and excavators is helpful. This individual will also be responsible for general laborer duties at the operation. This individual will be performing service work on equipment, grounds keeping and other duties as assigned. Role will primarily be as a Crusher Laborer but will help back up the Wash Plant Operators as well. This is a safety sensitive position.This position does require travel throughout Arizona.PRIMARY DUTIESAssists crew leader/operator with operation of crusher. Must be aware of the surroundings, keeping a close watch for any possible problem, and immediately report any problems to crew leader/operatorAt all times, crusher laborers will work cautiously to promote a safe environment for everyone at or around crusher sitesRemains alert for hazards involved in crusher operation and observe MSHA and operating rules and regulationsSafety, Safety, Safety comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safetyAssist with setup and tear down of plantsPerform general maintenance, inspect, repair, and service equipment and plant as required or directed by supervisorGrease machinery weekly.Clean debris from conveyor belt and around machineryUse of a shovel to move material will be necessaryRunning equipment and loading when necessary.Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startupGeneral labor duties at the operation performing service work on equipment, grounds keepingPerform other duties as assigned and assist other craft workers REQUIREMENTSApplicants must be at least 18 years oldValid Driver's License and reliable transportation to get to and from work is requiredAcceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is required M.S.H.A. certificate part 46 or 48 or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certificationBasic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torchMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snowAbility to operate equipment in adverse weather conditions and on steep and rough terrains is requiredAbility to repeatedly walk up and down steep and rough terrain carrying construction materialsPunctuality is requiredMust be a team player who is willing and able to learnMust be able to lift up to 80 lbs.Travel will be required Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are a drug-free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing.  If you require an accommodation with applying, please email hrdept@fisherind.com or call the HR Department at (701) 456-9184 to request accommodations.
