A typical day for an Aggregate Driver involves performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading aggregates like sand, gravel, or crushed stone at quarries or plants, and safely delivering them to construction sites or clients. Drivers communicate closely with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate schedules, adapt to changing job requirements, and ensure accurate deliveries. Many aggregate drivers make multiple deliveries per day and may need to navigate a variety of job site conditions. Attention to safety procedures and proper documentation are ongoing priorities.
