Contract position
Houston, TX -Hybrid
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years developing AI-enabled applications.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI agents, agent orchestration frameworks, AI workflows, or LLM-powered applications.
- Experience developing full-stack applications using modern web technologies and APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience building integrations with enterprise applications and services.
- Experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, knowledge management, or semantic retrieval solutions.
- Experience with vector databases and practical understanding of graph databases and knowledge graphs.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL, data quality, profiling, cleansing, governance, and metadata management.
- Experience developing on Microsoft Azure, including services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, AI Foundry, Data Factory, Databricks, and related cloud services.
- Familiarity with secure application design, Responsible AI principles, and enterprise governance practices.
- Ability to independently drive technical work from concept through delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
