Job description

Industrial Color is the creative production agency within CoCreativ, a family of integrated creative production companies that also includes Globaledit and Smashbox Studios. Industrial Color partners with leading brands to create and deliver content across creative development, photography, video, post-production, CGI, AI and studio production. As part of CoCreativ, Industrial Color brings together creative, production, technology and studio expertise to move complex projects from concept through final delivery.
The Account Manager owns key client relationships and guides projects from brief through final delivery. You will serve as the connection between the client and our creative, production, post, CGI, and studio teams. Producers and project managers will manage the production details, while you remain accountable for client communication, scope, budget, timing, approvals, and the quality of the final work.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can manage several accounts and projects, build strong client relationships, and keep work moving in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hybrid role based in New York, with in-office work in Tribeca Tuesday through Thursday.
Requirements
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients.
  • Lead kickoffs, status meetings, reviews, and project recaps.
  • Translate client goals and feedback into clear direction for internal teams.
  • Keep projects aligned across creative, production, post, CGI, and studio teams.
  • Track scope, budgets, timelines, approvals, and next steps.
  • Partner with production teams to set realistic plans and client expectations.
  • Identify risks early and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure the work reflects the client's brief and meets our quality standards.
  • Manage scope changes, revisions, and overage conversations.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and handoffs.
  • Support new client opportunities and identify ways to grow existing accounts.
  • Attend shoots, client meetings, and events as needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of account management or client services experience within an agency, studio, or production company.
  • Strong knowledge of photo, video, digital, and post-production workflows.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects at once.

  • Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and approvals.
  • A strong creative eye and the confidence to give clear feedback.
  • The ability to solve problems, manage difficult conversations, and influence teams you do not directly manage.
  • A proactive working style and comfort in a fast-moving, flexible environment.
  • Experience in beauty, fashion, luxury, retail, or similar industries is a plus.

Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors, including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
Our benefits package is designed to support your health, well-being, and time outside of work. It includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, an FSA, paid time off, summer Fridays, and regular office events that bring our teams together. Employees also enjoy a beautiful, inspiring workspace with an open gallery and two outdoor patio decks for working, connecting, and recharging.
