You have the same responsibilities as other RNs, but you work temporarily in each location. You may work on an assignment where you alleviate a nurse shortage at a clinical facility. These placements can last for a few days or for months. Some agency RNs are specialists who provide specific healthcare services, while others perform general nursing duties.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an agency RN, and why are they important?
