Scope of work:

The scope of this engagement is to have a Contractor provide qualified individuals to perform expert- level project management services to defined Department of Water Resources (DWR) and California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) information technology projects.

This Scope of Work (SOW) requires a minimum of 7,000 hours for project and portfolio management activities to be performed by multiple contractor individual(s) upon request by the State over the contract duration of twelve (12) months.

Contractor will supply project management professional expertise and in-depth project management resources to perform required activities and tasks related to the successful project management for defined information technology projects.

The selected Contractor will provide staff to serve in the capacity of a Project Manager(s) and Senior Project Manager(s) for assigned DWR and CNRA information technology projects and will be responsible for performing the overall project management activities and tasks of an assigned project.

Under the direction of the CNRA's Agency Project Management Officer, Contractor Staff will fulfill the role of an Enterprise Project Manager.

The expectation is that the Contractor staff will be responsible for performing all required project management activities/tasks on one or more information technology projects applying industry standards, principles, methods, techniques, usage planning, monitoring, and controlling principles tools to deliver desired project results.

Minimum Qualification:

Senior Project Manager

Active Status (as verified on the Project Management Institutes Online Credential Registry) for one or more of the following credentials: PMP, PgMP, PfMP.

Five (5) years of experience in the management of complex information technology projects

Three (3) years of experience performing as Project Manager on State, Local, Federal government information technology projects.

Five (5) years severing in a lead Project Manager capacity using industry standard best PMBOK project management methodology for IT Projects

Five (5) years of experience in organizational change management related to project efforts.

Five (5) years of experience in writing documentation such as, project and portfolio management reports, plans, processes, and guidelines.

At least three (3) references must be provided detailing this experience.

Project Manager

Active Status (as verified on the Project Management Institutes Online Credential Registry) for one or more of the following credentials: PMP, PgMP, PfMP.

Three (3) years of experience in the project management of medium size information technology projects.

Two (2) years of experience performing in a lead Project Manager capacity using industry standard project management methodology for IT Projects.

Two (2) years of experience in organizational change management related to project efforts

Two (2) years of experience in writing documentation such as, project and portfolio management reports, plans, processes, and guidelines.

At least three (3) references must be provided detailing this experience.
