Job description

About Us

At Bolton Insurance Agency, we are a people-first, second-generation State Farm agency with over 30 years of experience helping families and businesses across the Phoenix metro area protect what matters most.

Our team is known for exceptional service, a supportive culture, and the ability to communicate with clients in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Sindhi, and Urdu). We focus on building genuine relationships and delivering personalized insurance solutions that give customers real confidence.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate who thrives on helping people and closing new business. In this role you will connect with prospective and current clients, uncover their insurance needs, and present the right State Farm solutions for auto, home, life, renters, business, and more.

If you are outgoing, goal-driven, and enjoy turning conversations into lasting client relationships, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a high-performing Phoenix agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact and engage prospective clients to generate new business

• Conduct needs-based conversations to understand client situations and recommend appropriate coverage

• Quote, present, and close insurance policies across multiple lines of business

• Build and maintain strong relationships that support long-term client retention and referrals

• Follow up consistently with leads and existing clients to maximize opportunities

• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system

• Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences

• Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills

Ideal Candidate

You may be a great fit if you:

• Are outgoing, customer-focused, and motivated by goals and growth

• Excel at needs-based conversations that lead to confident buying decisions

• Communicate clearly and professionally (bilingual Spanish is a plus)

• Take ownership and follow through until every opportunity is fully resolved

• Enjoy working with the public and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

• Have prior sales, customer service, or insurance experience (preferred but not required)

What We Offer

• Competitive base + uncapped performance bonuses / commission

• Licensing paid by the agency

• 401(k)

• Paid time off

• Flexible schedule

• Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development

• Clear path for advancement within the agency

• Supportive, people-first team culture

Location

1630 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85006 (just north of McDowell on 7th Street)

On-site position.

This is a position with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Team members must successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
