About This Role

Full time position in the afterschool program with school age children (K-5th)

9:30 to 5:30 or 10:00 to 6:00.

Morning floating between younger classes during the school year.

Summer full-time running school age program.

Administrative responsibilities


What You'll Do

work with other afternoon classroom teacher to provide care for school age children

follow DHS licensing rules and QRIS standards while following classroom schedule

classroom supervision, snack-time supervision, talking with parents at

pick-up, going on field trips, helping with conflict resolution and engaging with children


Must Be over 21, have a clean driving record, and be willing to obtain F endorsement for driving a small bus.


Requirements

high school diploma minimum, some upper education preferred.

TCDC is a faith based, non-profit, fully licensed childcare center in Knoxville, TN. We are a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church, a 3 STAR center, and strive to provide the highest quality of care to the families we serve. We are looking for honest and hard working people who love working with children and have a like minded view that this ministry is a mission field for the community we serve. We offer a full day program for infants through Pre-Kindergarten and an after-school program that services 4 elementary schools in our community. When school is not in session, we also offer a full day program for our school age children. We are praying for the perfect people to add to our program, and we look forward to hearing from you!
