Job description

We are looking for a Software Developer to create and enhance business and scientific software solutions in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will build reliable applications, services, and integrations that connect enterprise and laboratory systems while supporting data readiness for AI, analytics, search, and operational use. You will collaborate with technical leaders, external technology partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable software and strengthen internal development capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications, scientific software tools, and web-based solutions that support business and research operations.
• Develop production-ready code using modern programming languages and frameworks, with an emphasis on quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Create and support APIs, automation workflows, and system integrations that enable seamless data exchange across laboratory and enterprise platforms.
• Design and implement cloud-based services and application components within AWS to support scalability and reliability.
• Prepare and transform scientific and business data for downstream use in AI initiatives, analytics platforms, enterprise search, and reporting solutions.
• Partner with software vendors, IT leadership, and internal technical teams to deliver new capabilities and improve existing systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and provide ongoing technical support for deployed solutions.
• Contribute to the growth of internal software engineering capabilities by delivering solutions that reduce reliance on outsourced development resources.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level software applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and related web development technologies.
• Experience building modern web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and framework-based front-end development.
• Practical experience designing and supporting cloud solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise systems using JSON and related technologies.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
