Is it true that AI will replace software engineers?

Full Time Systems Software Developers and other software engineers design, develop, and maintain software systems, and AI tools are currently used to assist with coding, testing, and debugging. While AI can automate certain repetitive tasks, it is unlikely to fully replace software engineers, as human expertise is essential for complex problem-solving, system architecture, and understanding user needs.
