CRNA Opportunity

Per diem CRNA opportunity with Midwest Eye Center S.C., established in 1974 in Calumet City, IL, just 35 minutes south of Chicago.

Midwest Eye Center S.C. delivers the highest quality testing and surgical treatment of eye diseases. The site has grown to be the largest eye practice in the area, and perhaps all of Illinois. Today patients can visit four different locations featuring cutting-edge technology. Team includes medical staff delivering services here hold teaching and research positions in the local in Chicagoland area universities.

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
