Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:
  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
**Previous experience in procedural areas highly preferred**
**Strong critical thinking background required**
Day to Day:
Patient chart review and education (calls only).
Care coordination and obtaining clearances and testing.
Collaborating with anesthesia on more complex cases.
Schedule & Operations:
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 0700-1730
Cases: Scheduled cases only.
Schedule: 24 hrs/wk - variable shifts - TBD during interview with Unit Manager.
Call: No call required.
Facility Snapshot:
Preop Beds: 12 rooms
PACU Beds: 19 bays (split, 10 North PACU, 9 South PACU)
Average Cases/Day:
~30 surgeries
~10 GI
~25 Pain Clinic
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
Experience Requirements
  • One year experience preferred
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
Licenses/Certification Requirements
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Physical Requirements
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
