Job description

Position Summary:  Evaluates, strategically directs and coordinates the implementation of all clinical and related systems used by the Information Systems Department.

Experience:  Experience in medical information systems, current NJ RN License, 2 years’ clinical experience and demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clinical and technical personnel in the application of information technology required.  One year cardiology experience preferred.

Education:  Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing, Computer sciences, healthcare informatics, or related field required.  Masters’ Degree in Nursing Informatics preferred.

License and Credentials: Registered Nurse (NJ) required.

Skills:  Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office Applications. Experience in and project management required.  Proficiency in Meditech preferred.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 80

Work Schedule: M - F

The minimum starting annual salary for this position is $94,000.
