Job description

Location:
Work from home (Pennsylvania)
Shift:
Days (United States of America)
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40
Worker Type:
Regular
Exemption Status:
Yes
Job Summary:
Why Geisinger:
Geisinger is operationalizing AI at scale across one of the nation's most integrated health systems, moving beyond pilots and proof of concepts to build capabilities that change how care is delivered and how operations run. This role works across clinical, operational, health plan, and pharmacy functions alongside AI product development and organizational leadership to identify and advance the AI opportunities that matter most.
This role is where AI strategy becomes reality. You will own the product vision and delivery roadmap for a portfolio of clinical and operational AI initiatives, working across one of the most integrated health systems in the country to build solutions that change how care is delivered and how the organization runs.
Position Summary:
This is a role for someone who wants to lead AI product work that actually matters. You will define and drive the roadmap for AI initiatives across clinical, operational, health plan, and pharmacy domains, taking ideas from discovery through validation, deployment, and scale. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, and operational leaders to build AI solutions that are clinically sound, operationally viable, and genuinely adopted. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a backlog. It is a role for someone who wants to own outcomes.
Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of AI initiatives, balancing clinical impact, operational feasibility, and strategic priority
  • Lead AI products through the full lifecycle from problem definition and discovery through build, validation in clinical settings, deployment, and ongoing iteration
  • Work directly with clinicians, operational leaders, data scientists, and engineers to translate real world problems into well scoped, buildable AI solutions
  • Establish clear success criteria and measurement frameworks for each initiative, tracking performance in production and using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate across product, platform, governance, and clinical teams to keep initiatives moving and ensure the right people are engaged at the right stages
  • Evaluate build, buy, and partner options for new capabilities, bringing a rigorous and evidence first perspective to make versus procure decisions
  • Ensure AI products meet clinical validation requirements and are ready for frontline use, working with clinical informatics, compliance, and legal stakeholders as needed
  • Monitor the competitive and market landscape to identify emerging capabilities and inform how the product roadmap evolves over time

Work is typically performed in an office or remote environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. The specific statements in this profile are not intended to be all-inclusive. They represent typical elements considered necessary to successfully perform the job.
Position Details:
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of product management experience in healthcare, digital health, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to lead AI or data driven products through full lifecycle delivery in a complex, multi stakeholder environment
  • Experience working directly with data scientists and engineers, with enough technical fluency to ask hard questions and make informed tradeoffs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build alignment across clinical, operational, and technical audiences
  • Deep familiarity with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle, or health plan functions
  • Experience defining and tracking product KPIs and using production data to drive iteration and improvement
  • Bachelor degree required; advanced degree in health informatics, business, or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Epic and its AI ecosystem including NoteReader, Cosmos, and the Showroom marketplace
  • Familiarity with clinical AI applications across ambient documentation, clinical decision support, revenue cycle, or prior authorization
  • Experience working within agile delivery teams in a healthcare or regulated industry environment
  • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI principles, or clinical validation methodologies

Education:
Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Required), Master's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required)
