Job description

A sweet family is seeking a warm and caring housekeeper/nanny to help them keep their home running smoothly. The family has two children, ages 3 and 4.5, with a baby due in the new year. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm. The older children are in school during the day, and the family has a nanny who will arrive in the early afternoon, so nanny duties would primarily be for the baby from take place from 8am-12pm and possibly 2-4pm, with housekeeping taking place in the afternoon or while the baby is napping.


  • Help get the older children offf to school in the morning
  • Care for the newborn, including age-appropriate routines for naps, feeding, diapering, and hygiene 
  • Handle housekeeping, including daily tidying and weekly deep cleaning
  • Creating and maintaining organizational systems in the home
  • Work as a team with the nanny to keep the household running
  • Family laundry
  • Basic, family-style meal preparation using healthy whole ingredients
  • Spend a few weeks per year in the Hamptons 

  • Independent self starter, with the ability to prioritize
  • Professional and discreet 
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable in the kitchen, with the ability to find and prepare tasty, healthy meals, mainly for the kids
  • Comfortable/happy taking care of babies 

  • US work authorization 
  • Willing to spend a few weeks in the Hamptons (with weeks off in between)
