Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst with expertise in Azure cloud technologies, SQL, and data analytics to support business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into data solutions and technical mapping documents.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and data mapping documents
  • Act as a liaison between business users, data engineers, and IT teams
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis
  • Work with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related cloud platforms
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Create field-level data mapping documents including transformations and business rules
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
  • Support data integration and ETL processes (good to have: Informatica)
  • Participate in UAT testing and validation of data pipelines and reports

  • Strong experience in SQL (data querying, joins, aggregations, optimization)
