  • Strong database and SQL knowledge and understanding of Database Design Principles
  • Strong programming skills in .NET C# and or Python
  • Experience in Object Oriented Programming and understanding of Software Design Principles and Architecture patterns
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts and other software developers
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced, team based environment
Advantageous skills and experience
  • Experience with delegating work to others
  • Experience with managing work / running sprints
  • Experience or interest in financial instruments (i.e. equities, futures, options) and markets
  • Exposure or interest to trading environments
