Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Test & Evaluation Data Analyst to support Program Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This position will provide additional support for the analysis, visualization, interpretation, and reporting of test data generated during a variety of test and evaluation events and exercises.
The Data Analyst will work closely with Test & Evaluation engineers and technical teams to collect, process, analyze, and visualize test data to assess system performance and identify potential issues. The successful candidate will have a strong technical and analytical background, experience with MATLAB and/or Python, and the ability to translate raw test data into meaningful information that supports engineering and programmatic decision-making.
The position will support both local and field test events and may involve working with classified and unclassified test data and participating in classified meetings.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Analyze test data using MATLAB, Python, and other applicable data analysis and visualization tools to evaluate system performance.
  • Process, interpret, and visualize data collected during Test & Evaluation (T&E) events and exercises.
  • Develop quick-look data products during test events to verify equipment is functioning properly and collecting the required data.
  • Coordinate with test engineers and technical personnel to collect, validate, process, and analyze test data.
  • Identify data anomalies, trends, and potential performance issues and communicate findings to the appropriate technical team.
  • Support Test Incident Report (TIR) review efforts by providing data-driven analysis to inform issue disposition and closure decisions.
  • Identify and create TIRs when test data analysis or post-processing activities reveal potential system issues or anomalies.
  • Perform detailed post-processing and analysis of test data to support evaluation of system performance.
  • Support local and field test events and provide assistance with test-related integration activities.
  • Participate in the design and improvement of data analysis, processing, and visualization tools.
  • Provide recommendations and technical insights to improve the efficiency and accuracy of test data analysis processes.
  • Prepare data visualizations, summaries, briefings, reports, and other technical products to communicate test results.
  • Support test engineers and program personnel in interpreting test data and identifying implications for system performance.
  • Participate in technical discussions, IPTs, working groups, and other T&E activities as required.
  • Support classified and unclassified test activities and meetings as required.
  • Perform other test and data analysis duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience with MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis, scripting, data processing, or visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex test data and identify trends, anomalies, and meaningful findings.
  • Ability to create clear and effective data visualizations and analytical products.
  • Understanding of basic Test & Evaluation principles and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data and identify issues with data collection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers, testers, program managers, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a technical team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to improve data analysis processes and tools.

  • Experience supporting DoD Test & Evaluation programs.
  • Experience analyzing data from hardware, software, subsystem, or system-level testing.
  • Experience developing automated data processing or analysis scripts.
  • Experience with test data acquisition systems.
  • Experience supporting Test Incident Reports or similar engineering issue-tracking processes.
  • Experience with JIRA or other issue-tracking systems.
  • Experience supporting PNT, navigation, communications, or other DoD mission systems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience supporting field testing, exercises, or demonstrations.
  • Experience working in classified DoD test environments.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience should include test and evaluation, engineering analysis, data analysis, or analysis of DoD systems/products.

Travel Requirement:
  • Up to 25% travel.

Clearance Requirement:
  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position represents Dynamo's good-faith estimate of the compensation expected to be offered at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
