Pay: $18-$21 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday
Shift Options: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM or 3:00/4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Afternoon Support Staff - Classroom FloaterThe Learning Experience is seeking a dependable Afternoon Support Staff / Floater to assist classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions. This role supports multiple classrooms while helping maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for children and families during pickup hours.
This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible afternoon schedule in a collaborative childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children
- Assist with afternoon activities, playground supervision, and classroom transitions
- Provide ratio coverage across classrooms as needed
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Support teachers with classroom cleanup and end-of-day preparation
- Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
- Follow all state licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting multiple age groups
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Must meet state childcare licensing requirements
