Job description

Job Title:  DC Dining Team Member - Prep Cook

Location: Denver Christian School – Lakewood, CO

Position Type:  Part time
Reports To:  Executive Chef

Salary:  $18.00 - 22.00, hourly, Based on Experience

Job Summary:

Denver Christian School is seeking a passionate, experienced Line Cook to join our Christ-centered community.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, dedicated kitchen team that plays an essential role in serving our students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience 
  • A strong team player who thieves in a close-knit environment 
  • Someone with an Entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for hospitality 
  • A commitment to excellence, cleanliness, and consistency 
  • Willingness to support 2-3 special events during the school year 
  • Desire to be part of a Christian community, modeling our values of grace, kindness, and teamwork.

Physical Requirements: 

  • The position may require occasional lifting of materials, standing for long periods, and the ability to navigate school premises.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may involve irregular hours, including early mornings and late afternoons. Some weekends.
