Job Description We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team supporting the Environmental & Social Business Advisory (ESBA) Portal. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Angular and Core Java with Spring Boot and a proven ability to deliver secure, reliable, and performant enterprise web applications. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain ESBA Portal application features. Build and enhance Angular-based user interfaces and integrate with Java Spring Boot microservices. Participate in requirements analysis, sprint planning, story refinement, and estimation. Perform code reviews and follow development standards and secure coding practices. Design and execute unit, integration, and regression tests. Support automated testing and analyze results. Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues across environments. Support deployments, monitoring, and maintenance activities in Kubernetes/OpenShift. Create and maintain technical documentation for functionality, deployment, and support. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of Angular development experience building enterprise web applications. 3+ years integrating Angular front ends with Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices. Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for responsive, user-friendly UI development. Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication and authorization. Hands-on with Jasmine, Karma, or similar frameworks for unit and integration testing. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple environments. Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum or similar methodologies. Modern Engineering & Platform Experience: Docker containerization and deployments on Kubernetes or OpenShift. Familiarity with cloud-native development and microservices patterns. CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable tools. Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools. Support for deployments, defect remediation, and production operations. Exposure to AI-enabled applications, intelligent assistants, or automation technologies is a plus. Preferred Skills: Proven experience building end-to-end applications with front-end and backend integration. Experience with performance and load testing and UI performance optimization.
