Job description

Job Summary:

Help shape the terrain you love to ride! The Terrain Park Crew works daily to build and maintain safe, fun, and progressive park features for Brundage skiers and snowboarders. Terrain Park work is a split-shift; in the morning and afternoon to open and close the parks and work on features outside of peak operating hours. This role is perfect for an advanced skier or rider who's prepared for a labor-intensive job. Park Crew candidates are creative, flexible, positive, and understand the importance of providing a safe and controlled playground for Brundage shredders.Opportunity to learn snowcat operations and/or summer employment for the right candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work efficiently on assigned tasks independently or with little assistance
  • Collaborate and cooperate with team
  • Participate in construction and maintenance of terrain park features
  • Install, maintain and monitor safety materials including signage, boundaries, entrances/exits, and feature markers
  • Support Ski Patrol as needed
  • Understand and promote park etiquette and mountain safety
  • Assist with special events including but not limited to set-up or break-down as needed
  • Use of hand and power tools may be required
  • Have an innovate mindset to give input and support the vision of planned park builds and changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficient skier/snowboarder in a terrain park environment
  • Safety oriented
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Able to follow direction and willingness to learn
  • Customer service experience
  • Previous industry experience preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60 pounds on an occasional basis, and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Ability to drive and pass insurance driving history inquiry
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work outside in ANY AND All-weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, high winds, and cold temperatures
