Our center focuses on evidence-based practices and trauma-informed approaches, including specialized treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment methods that address their unique trauma experiences.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, promoting resilience and coping strategies aligned with evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering safe environments where patients can express their feelings, process trauma, and learn effective coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, addressing mental health needs alongside any necessary medical support.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their understanding and promote recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring ethical standards are consistently upheld.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities prioritizing trauma-informed care.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy, integrating new insights into practice to improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma experiences, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with clients in a mental health setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.
