Job description

Salary: $69,414-$83,153

Division: Academics
Reports to: Assistant Principal
Schedule: MondayFriday, 10:30 AM6:30 PM (10month position)


Position Summary
The AfterSchool Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the AfterSchool Program for grades PreK through 5. This role supervises staff, coordinates enrichment activities, ensures student safety, and supports a positive school culture aligned with the schools mission.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily afterschool operations, schedules, transitions, and supper service
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, and support afterschool staff and volunteers
  • Serve as onsite administrator and ensure scholar safety during afterschool hours
  • Plan and implement engaging enrichment programming aligned with school goals
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding program updates
  • Track and submit attendance, enrollment, meals, and program data
  • Oversee invoicing, fee collection, and afterschool budget in partnership with Finance
  • Recruit and hire afterschool staff; conduct investigations as needed
  • Promote positive school climate, professionalism, and collaboration


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or program management experience (school, nonprofit, or public agency preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and peoplemanagement skills
  • Experience with basic budgeting and data tracking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Flexible, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities
