Job description

Project ISAAC 21st CCLC Afterschool Programs
10 weekly hours must be Monday through Thursday afterschool during program hours
Maximum of 100 programmatic days (250 hours) from the start of program which must start no later than October 15th
2 hours pre-planning, plus 5 hours of pre-program training
$35/hour for certified teachers, Hourly wage will be adjusted accordingly for those not holding a professional teaching certificate
Effective for the 2026-27 school year
POSITION: Project ISAAC After School STEAM and CTE Enrichment Leader












IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Project ISAAC Director and/or Site Coordinator


QUALIFICATIONS:

WV Teaching certification preferred

Experience working with elementary and /or middle school students, preferred

Experience with STEAM & CTE activities and initiatives

Good verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills

Good organizational skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop hands-on STEAM and CTE enrichment lessons relating to the 21st CCLC / West Virginia College and Career Readiness Standards and Objectives, focusing on career awareness and readiness activities, the arts, STEAM, computer science, and technology

Assist Project ISAAC staff members with developing a career day and career exploration project to allow students to increase their knowledge of a potential career path

Develop STEAM based activities and lessons for students which will increase their knowledge and abilities in STEAM fields.

Assist Project ISAAC staff members with developing community service-learning projects

Help recruit volunteers/presenters to implement varied academic STEAM and CTE enrichment classes

Maintain and submit student records for attendance, participation, and progress as required

Maintain and submit lesson plans and a log of enrichment activities as required

Attend staff meetings and training as required

Assist with programs planned for family members of ISAAC students as required

Other duties as assigned by the Project Director and / or designee
