Job description

Apollo After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We are looking for an outgoing, personable, and organized Receptionist for our school-based program in the area. If this sounds like you, then continue reading!
As an Apollo Receptionist, your responsibilities will be:
  • Greeting students and parents with a positive and engaging attitude.
  • Being in charge of student dismissal and making sure this runs efficiently.
  • Managing access to the building for authorized personnel only.
  • Contacting students to confirm pickup.
  • Providing a safe and secure school environment.
  • Actively responding to incidents that threaten school security.
  • Reporting unusual activity that might become a safety issue promptly.
  • Actively communicating with Apollo staff members in the location.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Technological proficiency..
  • A team player who can collaborate with peers.
  • Previous experience in security and in childcare (6 months minimum for each).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff members, and the public in general.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues and create action plans related to the security and dismissal of students
