Pay: Starting at $20.50 an hour, based on education

Hours: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday (No weekends! Part-time)

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

  • Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
  • Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program
  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience
  • Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
  • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

  • Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
  • Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
