Terms of Service: Hourly, part-time, school year position up to five hours per school day. Pay rate of $18.50 per hour for the 2026/2027 school year.
Benefits: No benefits are available for part-time and/or per diem personnel.
Environment: May be exposed to weather conditions. May be required to work in various temperatures and locations within the facility and outside. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Before/After School Program Director (Director) and Coordinator, the Assistant Instructor will assist with the implementation of the program. The Instructor is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, ensuring a high level of program quality, and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families.
Ability to -
? Work with, develop, lead, mentor, and supervise youth ages 5 to 14 in small and large groups.
? Engage in physical activities with participants without limitation.
? Lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects between 10 and 20 pounds.
? Stand for up to 5 hours.
? Maintain an inviting, safe, orderly environment.
? Work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
? Effectively communicate and demonstrate sensitivity with others.
? Be a good role model for children.
