Job description

Job Summary

The role of the Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA) is integral to ARMC’s mission to provide quality patient care to our community. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic individual to join us in providing the best, most compassionate care for our patients! 

The PCNA will perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of the licensed staff. Duties include ADL's, vitals, feeding, bathing, dressing, mouth care, and other direct patient care duties as assigned. 

Experience/Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least (1) year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients is strongly desired.

Required Licensure or Certification

  • BLS certification required. Can be obtained during orientation

Required Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Requires ability to walk 6 to 8 miles in an 8-hour shift
  • Lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment
